Planning Your Perfect Event

Meg plays for a variety of events and enjoys bringing her special touch to each one. She is flexible and willing to do whatever she can to make your dream event a reality.

Below are available packages along with terms and conditions in order to protect Meg’s harp. The event titles and suggestions are not the extent of your options for hiring Meg; she is willing to play many unique events.

Wedding Ceremony

Meg offers a consultation (not required) with a maximum of 6 people attending, to sample and select music for the ceremony. She will play for the rehearsal and the ceremony. Clients may request new music, but the specific piece(s) must be selected and purchased by the client. An additional fee may be charged for learning new music. The price will be determined and negotiated based on the complexity of the piece and the amount of time Meg has to learn it.

This package is $500 and includes:

  • Optional music consultation
  • Rehearsal
  • Ceremony

Terms & Conditions

Payment must be made two weeks in advance. For an outdoor wedding, in order to protect Meg’s harp, the temperature must be between 60 and 90 degrees, without rain or strong wind. If the temperature or weather is outside of those parameters on the day of the rehearsal, Meg will not play. If the temperature or weather is outside of those parameters on the day of the wedding, she will not play, but $300 will be refunded. The remaining $200 will be kept as payment for the services already rendered. If Meg is unable to play, she will find a replacement harpist. If Meg is prevented from playing on the day of the wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, the entire amount will be refunded.

Meg’s harp must be in full shade and on flat, level ground. It must be kept away from vents and drafts in order to preserve tuning. It must be kept out of strong wind to prevent falling. A 4×6 foot area will be required for Meg’s harp, music stand, and stool. Meg will take short breaks after every hour of playing in order to avoid injury.

Meg offers a consultation (not required) with a maximum of 6 people attending, to sample and select music for the reception. She will play as many hours as requested. Clients may request new music, but the specific piece(s) must be selected and purchased by the client. An additional fee may be charged for learning new music. The price will be determined and negotiated based on the complexity of the piece and the amount of time Meg has to learn it.

This package is $300 and includes:

  • Optional music consultation
  • One hour of music
  • Every additional hour is $150

This package is $250 and includes:

  • Optional music consultation
  • One hour of music
  • Every additional hour is $150

This one hour package is $300 and includes:
